You can listen to the music in different ways:
-
with staff-notation
NoteWorthy Viewer (2.5.6a) in which you can set tempo for play-back and
pause and start the music
where you want. You can download the
program by clicking the picture next
to this text. After
the installation of the program you click on the square picture left
in the column.
Then you choose "Open". You can save the file on your computer by
clicking with the right mouse
button and "Save as ..." in the menu
that appears.
You can use the Mute option in the
Tools menu to mute staves so that only your own staff sounds.

To play MIDI files in musical notation, there are two good
programs to use.
You'll find the midi files by clicking the icons on the right.
In the Melody-player you can
change the volume for each staff, change its tempo and repeat parts
of the music. The text is even "pronounced". You also can make a list
of the files you'll use.

To select the language for the
program, click here.
The
Notation-player shows the staff-notation, which you can
download by clicking the picture next to this text. With this player
you can repeat parts of the music easily.

without staff-notation
The midi-files can be played with the
Mediaplayer from Windows. Click the right picture in the column to
play the file.
The
midi-files can also be played with vanBasco's karaoke player, the
text is shown while playing the file. You can change tempo and
scroll back and forward to rehearse a specific part of the music.
You can also click a little button to make the staff you wish to
sound louder.

The program NoteWorthy Composer, with
which the "koorpartijen" are made, you'll find on
http://www.noteworthysoftware.com/. You can use the evaluation to
play the music-files.

After installing
the new
viewer I get the message
that
NWC25STDA.TTF not found.
You can then
do the following:
For Windows 7:

Program Files (x86)/Noteworthy
Software/NoteWorthy
Composer 2
Viewer double
click the
file NWC25STDA
and in the next window
click on
'Install'.
For Windows XP:
Copy the file
NWC25STDA.TTF from the folder

I can hear nothing,
while the musicfile is playing. Open de volume
window by right clicking the symbol
at the bottom of your screen
and click "open"

Take the slide below SW-synthesizer at the top and
remove the ü
in the checkbox.

Can I use the program on an Apple
computer or MacBook?
The program NoteWorthy can not be used on an Apple
computer or MacBook. However, you can use the
Melody Player with the midi-files. You'll find the midi files by clicking the icons on the right.

Can the files put on CD
to play-back it in the car?
With the program SynthFont you can convert the
midi-files to wav of mp3, which can be burned on a CD.

In the last NoteWorthy Viewer are no
longer measure numbers. Where have they gone?
In the last version the measure numbers are in the
status bar at the bottom right behind the word 'Bar'.
